2011 Nissan Maxima Faces Competition from Altima

The 2011 Nissan Maxima was release in order to dazzle its driver with refinement and available equipment. Unfortunately for Maxima, only a fraction of its stock will sell while most buys will flock toward the Altima. The 2011 Maxima's SE trim is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 265-horesepower. The SE can also reach 20/28 mpg city/highway on its 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.

The SL trim of the 2011 Maxima is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 265-horsepower engine that can achieve 20/27 mpg city/highway. This trim also comes with a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive as standard. Although the Altima has assumed the role of a bigger and more powerful car, the Maxima is quick, stylish, and has move up in the market to a pricier position.
