The 2010 Hummer H3T
's foray into the pickup truck segment, and it's a vehicle that blends a spacious cabin with a short pickup bed for a unique trucking experience. Each H3T is powered by a 242 horsepower, 3.7-liter inline-five engine, that's also available in a 239 horsepower trim. The engine is bolted to a four speed automatic transmission or a five speed manual transmission.
Power makes its way on to an electronically shifted two speed four wheel drive system, which leaves the 2010 pretty much the same as it was in 2009. The Alpha edition trim has been engineered for better power and off-road capability, and can produce 300 hp from its 5.3-liter V8. Fuel mileage has also remained unchanged with the same 13/16 city/highway. The base trim of the H3T comes with 16 inch steel wheels, full skid plates, OnStar telematics, cruise control, keyless entry, Bluetooth connectivity, a six speaker music system with satellite radio and full power accessories.
If you're in the mood for more features, the higher trim Adventure comes with a shorter gear transfer case facilitating better hill climbing and descending, an off-road suspension, rear and front locking differentials, a six CD changer Monsoon audio system and 33 inch off-road tires. The higher level Alpha trims come not only with a powerful V8 engine, but also with embroidered headrests and alloy wheels. Similarly, a monsoon system, power heated front seats, leather upholstery and oversized floor mats come in addition to all the basic features in the Luxury trim level.
The range topping Alpha with leather comes with exterior trim and chrome wheels. If you want a little extra and don't mind spending a little more, you can get several optional features such as a power sunroof, and a navigation system.
