Maybach 57 S

In 2005, Daimler revealed the new Maybach 57 S. The next question you must be asking yourself is what the heck does the "S" stand for?! Well, it's stands for "Special", as that is what Maybach wants us to recognize about its now upgraded base model. This take on luxury seems to be paying off for Daimler as the Maybach 57 S has been successful. It has rear and side curtains to shield its occupants away from the common folk, who obviously don't deserve to look inside the car.

It now uses a 6.0 liter V12 engine producing 600 horsepower. Ride height is also slightly reduced and it now has standard 20-inch wheels. Again, Daimler seems to be trying their absolute best to outdo not only the competition, but also themselves with the standard Maybach 57.
