2011 Dodge Journey

Just three years into production, the Dodge Journey has gotten a redesign. To look at the new model, the changes aren't all immediately obvious. This is because most of the changes that have been made have focused on making the Journey somewhat less awful to drive. Engine displacement has increased to 3.6 liters for the V6 powerplant, and horsepower is up from 235 to 283, a much more suitable amount of power for a vehicle of this size.

There have also been extensive changes to the steering and suspension to give the driver a more connected feeling. These are all changes that the Journey really shouldn't have ever needed. What the 2011 redesign is likely to give us just the car which Dodge should have been building all along. The Journey we've had for the past few years has always felt a bit rushed into production.
