Smart and Nissan B-Segment

In an interesting bit of news, pint size Smart has announced its intentions to partner up with Nissan to build a new vehicle for the United States market. There are literally no details available, but Smart has released a few sketches of the proposed vehicle. The new car will be a five-door, B-segment competitor powered by a gasoline engine. Speculation has it that this car will probably be based on the Nissan Micra.

Not much is revealed from these sketches, but we can tell that Smart has a hand in it because of the quirky design. For now, there are a bunch of hurdles the two carmakers need to pass, so it'll take a year or so till we see anything.
